It is with great sadness that we report the death of The Plymouth Athenaeum’s former Vice President, Roy Alphey.
Roy, 87, served as Vice President of The Athenaeum from 2013 to 2016.
The funeral service will take place at Ford Park Cemetery at 2.30pm on Friday, 23rd February. It will be followed by a private cremation.
Today’s (Thursday, 8th February) lecture at The Plymouth Athenaeum – The Spread of the Baptist Movement in South West England by Rev David Evans BA – has been cancelled due to the lecturer’s ill health.
