We are pleased to announce that our lectures will be returning to the Plymouth Athenaeum after a year at City College Plymouth for the 2022/23 series.
On Thursday, 13th October (7.30pm), Dr Patrick Holden will be discussing ‘A New Hope? The Plymouth/South Devon Freeport’.
Patrick is an Associate Professor in the School of Society and Culture at the University of Plymouth and Athenaeum Lecture Secretary.
On Thursday, 20th October (7.30pm) a special film screening and discussion on ‘Mrs Carlill v Carbolic Smoke Ball Co.’ will be presented by Rob Giles and Hugo de Rijke, from the School of Society and Culture, University of Plymouth.
