Autumn Lecture series: ‘What Difference Did the War Make?’

The Plymouth Athenaeum’s 2018 Autumn Lecture series continues with Professor Angela K. Smith’s lecture ‘What Difference Did the War Make? The First World War and the Campaign for Women’s Suffrage’ on Thursday, October 25 (7.30pm).

Angela K. Smith is Professor of Modern Literature in the Department of English and Creative Writing at the University of Plymouth.

She has published a number of books on the First World War focusing on contemporary women writers.

This lecture is part of the Plymouth Literature Festival.

Lectures are free and open to the public.
