Membership of the Athenaeum is open to all who are interested in the study and promotion of the Arts, Literature, Science and Technology. Members are encouraged to enjoy this wide range of interests.

We regret that the 340 seat theatre will close on July 31st 2009 until further notice.

General Information.

Opening Hours.

The Athenaeum building is open to members on weekdays,
Monday to Friday, 10.00 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
(Between 12.30 p.m - 1.30 p.m. the main office is closed for lunch.) It is also open when an Athenaeum activity or letting of parts of the premises is taking place.

Box Office opening hours (until July 29th 2009) are from 11.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday. Holiday closures are listed on the members' page.
